SLGL dataHub

The SLGL dataHub is a digital twin of the economy of the St. Lawrence and Great Lakes region’s economy within the bounds of international trade and transportation. Using real-time geospatial data on trade and transportation, economic activities undertaken by firms are mapped to reveal the underlying trade networks of globalization. This mapping allows users to study the performance of economies under our four dimensions of analysis i.e., global value chains, economic clusters, economic complexity and gravity models. A key differentiator of our work is the study of economic activity beyond arbitrary geographic boundaries that helps account for globalization induced complexities.

The SLGL dataHub will soon be made available for public use.
