As every year in January, the conference of the American Economic Association (AEA), organized in collaboration with 64 associations of related disciplines known as the Allied Social Science Associations (ASSA), brought together numerous economic specialists to highlight new achievements in economic research.
The International Trade and Finance Association (ITFA) session entitled « Navigating the Future: The Interplay of AI and International Economics », was moderated by Thierry Warin (HEC Montréal, CIRANO) with contributions from Dalibor Stevanovic (ESG UQAM, CIRANO), Ethan Hartley (University of Hawaii at Manoa) and Aleksandar Stojkov (Lustinianus Primus Faculty of Law).
Nathalie de Marcellis-Warin (Polytechnique Montréal, CIRANO) presented the GVCdtLab’s ongoing research project entitled « Measuring Competitiveness in the Great Lakes-St. Lawrence Region Using a Digital Twin ».
