Pandemics, labor shortages, climate challenges, and the economic situation related to the war in Ukraine are all factors that are impacting supply chains around the world. CIRANO has decided to address these issues for its 2022-2023 theme year entitled “Addressing Supply Chain Challenges”.
In this context, we were pleased to organize our annual colloquium which brought together CIRANO’s principal investigators in data science for trade and intermodal transport, as well as representatives from Transport Canada, Global Affairs Canada, the Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility. We also had the pleasure of welcoming ecosystem players such as Armateurs du Saint-Laurent, Cargo-M, Port of Montreal, Manufacturiers Exportateurs du Québec, SODES and others.
During a full day of conferences and roundtables, our speakers discussed international trade disruptions, the latest methodologies for developing real-time predictive models for trade and transportation, digital transformation issues for the workforce, value chains in the face of climate disruptions, and issues surrounding transportation, multimodality and logistics.
A rich program and inspiring guests!
